We are well and truly in summer, even if the weather would happily disagree (a dull drizzle is taking over outside as I type). And another season, means another excuse to add items to my wardrobe.
I’ve recently been GLUED to Pinterest in the evenings (and ASOS…), and have been using my fashion board to start building up how I’d like my personal style to be. If we ever see some sun again, here are some of my favourite summer outfits.
Think I would definitely need to wait for some sunnier Devon weather, but I love the combination of blue denim and black denim. Trainers, sandals or espadrilles, all would look perfect with this outfit, preferably paired with a tan! Simply swap for black jeans as we head into autumn, easy! If I could also have legs as long as hers that would be great.
I love vintage vests/band t-shirts as I think they look effortlessly edgy (providing you can put up with all the challenging comments of “do you even know their music?”etc., etc.). Ripped knee jeans and Birkenstocks go so well to finish the look, but I think this would also look great tucked into some high waisted levis with a pair of trainers.
I have been searching for the perfect boho dress for ages! If you can dodge the underwear showing ones, they are so easy to wear and will be great to hide any bbq bellies! My search continues!
If you live in your leather jacket, get yourself a denim one! It’s the perfect summer alternative and looks great thrown over summer dresses, jumpsuits or playsuits!
Ultimate. Effortless. Outfit. Comfy, easy to wear, and perfect for any occasion – shopping trip, lazy day, garden party – all sorted by this simple dress. Accessorize up or keep simple, worn with ankle boots, sandals or trainers, a perfect wardrobe staple!
Another dress I’ve been super keen to add to my wardrobe. I’m yet to find the perfect fit, but when I do it will be a permanent addition. Paired with brown or black accessories I just think they’re such an easy to wear piece.
Ah, all black e’rything. Be still my beating heart. I think all black can look super smart or super casual, all depending on what you’re doing. I love the layering of the top over the skirt and the tie up sandals are the perfect summer shoes (I’ve been eyeing a few up on ASOS since seeing this outfit!)
